Etsy printable wall art sizes: a practical seller guide
A simple way to prepare digital wall art files without creating a separate design for every size. Start with the print ratios your customers use most, then keep each output clear, correctly named, and easy to download.
The short version
Most Etsy printable-art listings work best when they include 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, square, and A-series files. Do not stretch one artwork into every ratio. Use a crop or margin strategy, then check that the final pixel dimensions support the print size you promise.

4:5 ratio
4×5, 8×10, 12×15, 16×20 inches
Useful for customers who print at 8×10 or 16×20.
Square
5×5, 8×8, 12×12, 16×16 inches
Best for square illustrations and gallery walls.
A-series
A5, A4, A3, A2
Useful for customers who print in ISO paper sizes.
Avoid blurry downloads
Always compare the artwork pixel dimensions with the largest promised print size. A file can look fine on screen and still look soft when printed too large. If a size is not sharp enough, remove it or offer a smaller recommendation.
Make file names buyer-friendly
Use clear English file names such as botanical-print_2x3_12x18in.jpg. Consistent names help buyers locate the right file and reduce support messages.
